Components

  • HELTEC Wireless Tracker 433 MHz w/ GPS
  • LiPo 3.7 V 532248 - 510 mAh

The drone used in this case is the DJI Mavic Air 2, which has more than enough payload capacity as demonstrated with Project ARGUS.

The case is 3D-printed and remixed to fit the Mavic Air 2 GoPro-style top-mount. To save weight and ensure maneuverability only a tiny 510 mAh LiPo is used.

Different payload (e.g. 868 MHz LoRa) can be fitted to get mesh-nodes or digipeaters in the air and extend network coverage or reach remote areas.
